First Men On The Moon!

Working on the Nexus Newspaper strip made me try my hand at a one-pager EC comics style sci-fi story. It's basically based on an earlier test-page I made while experimenting with making my own zip-a-tone a few years ago. This was made full-size at 17"x22". I just taped two regular 11"x17" pages together ala a double page spread.

I added some yellow newsprint colour to the whole page and after experimenting with colour halftones, I decided to leave that particular effect out. It just didn't look as good.
